Behavioral Support Aide—Dallas

The Autism Treatment Center is seeking an individual to work full time as a Behavioral Support Aide in the ATC Day-School Program. This person will provide supports in education, social interactions, activities of daily living, and transitions to attain functional academic and community independence. Interested candidates must have a desire to work in the field of autism and be willing to go through behavioral and educational autism specific trainings via a variety of clinical staff. Experience working with school age (early childhood to graduation) is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in implementation of academic and behavioral IEPs.
  • Adherence to individual program plans developed by ABA or Behavior Manager.
  • Implement program strategies in a variety of settings.
  • Data collection and assist with reports.

Registered Behavior Technician—Dallas

The Autism Treatment Center is seeking a full time Registered Behavior Technician for the Applied Behavior Analysis Clinic in Dallas.

This position offers competitive salary and benefits. The Autism Treatment Center is a well respected agency, founded in 1976 and serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan (primarily Autism Spectrum Diagnosis) through a variety of programs. Interested candidates must possess their RBT or be willing to go through the RBT training program within the first 90 days following hire. They must have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Experience working with older children, adolescents and adults is a plus; though not required.

The RBT will be supervised by a BCaBA or BCBA under direction of the ABA Program Manager. Supervision will be provided as required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Job Responsibilities include the following:

  • Direct ABA therapy with children, adolescents and teens in our Applied Behavior Analysis Clinic.
  • Adherence to program procedures and behavior support plans as developed by the BCBA or BCaBA.
  • Ability to accept feedback and modify teaching methods as needed.
  • Ability to implement behavioral programming including but not limited to the following: shaping, least to most restrictive prompting, errorless teaching, and experience with both natural environment and discrete trail teaching, implementing toileting and feeding protocols.
  • Collect data and document treatment.
  • Assist with progress reports and data analysis.
  • Assist with gathering or making materials.
  • Serve as primary contact point with parents or guardians at pick up and drop off.
  • Communicate in a clear, professional manner.
  • Team player.

The Autism Treatment Center is looking for a Certified Special Education Teacher to work in a classroom with students enrolled in our educational program. This is full time position assisting in the development of IEP, IHP, IDT, ISP and Treatment Plans. The Teacher will provide daily instruction to students to attain and maintain the skills necessary to achieve maximum functional independence and academic success. Will also support and promote the rights of Learners and function effectively as a member of Interdisciplinary Team. This position will train Teacher Assistant intervention techniques and best practices in behavior management. Speech Language Pathologist—San Antonio

Do you want to learn ABA and provide best practices for children with autism spectrum disorder? The Autism Treatment Center is now hiring for a Speech Language Pathologist in our fast growing Medicaid outpatient facility specializing in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Speech Language Pathologist to provide deliverable services to children ages 3-15. The SLP provides comprehensive diagnostic services to patients referred for a possible speech, language, hearing, and/or swallowing disorder. With physician referral and approval, treatment plans are implemented to address communication barriers and enable each individual to reach his or her maximum level of independence.

Qualifications:

  • Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of:
    • Clinical Competence in (speech pathology or audiology) granted by the
    • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; or
  • Meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification.
  • Competent to treat pediatrics and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder and/or related disorders.
  • CPR certification for all age groups.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift, guard, transfer and maneuver patients of all sizes and weights, utilizing assistance or special equipment as needed on a recurring basis and in a safe manner
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity to safely apply all necessary modalities and operation of equipment
  • Must be able to follow written procedures and verbal directives
  • Full time, part time, and contract work available with a competitive salary
  • Must have adequate hearing and speech to effectively direct and re-direct the therapy program.

An Occupational Therapist position is available in our fast growing Medicaid outpatient facility specializing in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive diagnostic services to patients referred for a possible in the areas of fine motor development, orthopedic abnormality, or neurological deficits. With physician referral and approval, treatment plans are implemented to address deficits identified in any, or all of these areas. Goals are set to move the individual toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function.

Minimum Qualifications:
