Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)—Dallas

The Autism Treatment Center is seeking a highly motivated Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst for a full time position at our Dallas Campus in the Applied Behavior Analysis Outreach Clinic. The BCaBA will be responsible for assisting with the supervision of program implementation and program development. The BCaBA will also work direct 1:1 approximately 50-60% of their weekly hours. They will assist with initial assessments, and complete more in-depth assessments following admission (including but not limited to Functional Analysis, CALS, HELP, ABLLS, VB-MAPP, AFLS). The BCaBA will provide supervision to direct therapists and RBT's, they will be supervised by the BCBA and Program Manager. The BCaBA will assist with program development, data analysis and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. Experience with Medicaid Waiver programming preferred but not required. Experience managing aggression and other challenging behaviors is required.

Benefits will be available after 90 days of employment. Salary is competitive and will be based upon experience.

Office hours are 8:45-6:00 Monday through Friday with the opportunity to come in late or leave early 1- 2 days per week to equal 40 hours.

Registered Behavior Technician—Dallas

The Autism Treatment Center is a well respected agency, founded in 1976 and serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan (primarily Autism Spectrum Diagnosis) through a variety of programs. Interested candidates must possess their RBT or be willing to go through the RBT training program within the first 90 days following hire. They must have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Experience working with older children, adolescents and adults is a plus; though not required.

The RBT will be supervised by a BCaBA or BCBA under direction of the ABA Program Manager.

Candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Autism Treatment Center Rehabilitation Agency transportation passenger vehicle. The ability to work independently under the general direction of a supervisor with responsibilities to transport individuals to and from therapy sessions and other duties assigned.  Experience working with autism or developmental disabilities.  Also, must possess good written and oral communication skills. Physical Therapist Assistant—Dallas

The PTA provides direct physical therapy according to the directions of the Physical Therapist. Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises. Able to utilize physical agents, including, but not limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage. Maintains necessary records, clinical notes, conference notes which is incorporated into the patients clinical records. Open to treating pediatric patients with autism, down syndrome and other developmental disorders.

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an Associate's degree in science or applied science that is approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc. Current certification or license as required by state law and 1 year of experience in physical therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Occupational Therapist (Part Time)—Fort Worth

The Occupational Therapist is a qualified, licensed professional who provides, evaluates, and supervises occupational therapy services to children and adults with autism in our Fort Worth Therapy Clinic, as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapy; Currently licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas; Relevant clinical experience, 1 year or more preferred; Current CPR/First Aid certification for all age groups; Computer skills with Microsoft office knowledge; and Experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.

Duties:

  • Performs initial evaluation and develops treatment plans in accordance with physician’s orders.
  • Implements treatment plan, provides occupational therapy services to children and adults with autism.
  • Instructs patients, their families, and other members of the service team in regards to therapy procedures.
  • Reports pertinent observations, reactions, and any patient behavioral issues to appropriate team member.
  • Maintains patient records in accordance with ATC standards, state and federal regulations, and submits documentation within required timeframes.
  • Participates in patient care conferences as needed, communicates with other team members, in order to facilitate coordination of patient care.
  • Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistant (when applicable) to accomplish the plan of treatment as developed.
  • Participates in training and meetings with ATC to learn procedures and develop skills and knowledge of Autism.
  • Performs all duties in compliance with ATC policy and procedures.  Adheres to all rules, regulations, and code of ethics, guidelines, and codes in federal, state and local laws, which are concerned with the practice of occupational therapy.
  • May be required to meet with supervisor, technical support staff, human resources, or other support staff as needed to maintain therapy standards and patient care.
  • Incidental time is a part of the job responsibilities which includes, but not limited to, patient chart updates, patient notes and call logs, performance reviews, supervisory meetings, and training.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst—San Antonio

The Autism Treatment Center is seeking a highly motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a full time position at our San Antonio Campus. The BCBA will be responsible for direct behavior support services to these individuals as well as staff training, data analysis and supervision of program implementation. The BCBA will also be responsible for direct services with community clients receiving Behavior Supports/ABA.

Additional time may be spent conducting intake assessments, providing supervision for BCBA eligible candidates, RBTs and BCaBAs or providing programming oversight and supervision for insurance and private pay clients in our Intensive ABA Early Intervention Program or our Targeted Intervention Program.

An Occupational Therapist position is available in our fast growing Medicaid outpatient facility specializing in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive diagnostic services to patients referred for a possible in the areas of fine motor development, orthopedic abnormality, or neurological deficits. Speech Language Pathologist—San Antonio

Special Education Certified Teacher—San Antonio

The Autism Treatment Center is looking for a Certified Special Education Teacher to work in a classroom with students enrolled in our educational program. This is full time position assisting in the development of IEP, IHP, IDT, ISP and Treatment Plans. The Teacher will provide daily instruction to students to attain and maintain the skills necessary to achieve maximum functional independence and academic success. Will also support and promote the rights of Learners and function effectively as a member of Interdisciplinary Team. This position will deliver intervention techniques and best practices in behavior management. Successful candidates will be supervised by BCBA in the delivery of instruction to children with developmental disorders, specific to social, communication and cognitive development. Experience in teaching individuals with autism in a school setting is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:
