Grants & Contributions - Dallas
With great appreciation ATC recognizes the Chi Omega Christmas Market,
Hoblitzelle Foundation, Stars Foundation, Woodall Foundation, CBS11
and Jill & Tracy Rowlett for making the purchase of playground and
recreational equipment possible for ATC. In making our selections of
the playground equipment, ATC brought together a team of physical,
occupational, and behavioral therapist, educational directors and
field specialists to design and develop a recreational/playground
package that would best benefit the people served by the ATC.
Additionally, this area will serve to provide safe play and expand
opportunities for physical and social programming in the evening and
on the weekends for the ATC residential component.

Woodall Foundation has graciously funded the equipment needed for ATC's neurofeedback
research project being conducted by Dr. Carolyn Garver. Martin Woodall and Chris Reasor personally came over to deliver the funds
and to observe a "brain training" session. This is a noninvasive technique that is conducted on
an individual basis to help reduce agitation and frustration, making the individual more
inclined to pay attention, interact with activities and be more receptive to learning. We thank
Woodall Foundation for their continued support.
We are pleased to announce
Texas Motor Speedway's Children's Charities 2003 granted ATC $2,000 in support of
special activities for the children in our program. ATC was presented this gift along with
several area organizations
honored at the annual Texas Motor Speedway Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. This gift is
truly appreciated and will really add to the lives of our children during this holiday season.
