Certified Special Education Teacher

This full time position in the Autism school will assist in the development of IEP, IHP, IDT, ISP and Treatment Plans. The Teacher will provide daily training teaching each Learner to attain and maintain the skills necessary to achieve maximum functional independence and academic success. Will also support and promote the rights of Learners and function effectively as a member of Interdisciplinary Team. This position will train Teacher Assistant intervention techniques and best practices in behavior management. Successful candidates will be supervised by BCBA in the delivery of instruction to children with developmental disorders, specific to social, communication and cognitive development. Experience in teaching Autistic children in a school setting is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field
  • Strong ABA background preferred
  • Texas SBEC Special Education License
  • Must have clean criminal background
  • Must pass the pre-employment process
  • Must have a good work history
  • Must be over 21 yrs old
  • Must have a strong desire to apply a behavioral approach to teaching

 

Registered Nurse

Provides general health care to developmentally disabled individuals of all ages.  Assessment of nursing needs of consumers and assure appropriate delivery of medical services.  Current State License and prefer 2 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.  Please send resume to mpowell@atcoftexas.org or fax to 469-916-2357.

 

Part Time Technical Support Specialist

Hardware Support

  • Responsible for setting up PCs, as needed, on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate repair work of network and printing equipment with IT Manager
  • Order parts for PC and laptops 
  • Assist in the set-up and distribution of laptops 
  • Test new hardware and software 
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop problems; understand imaging software. 
  • Rebuild and image laptops and desktops as needed 
  • Setup printers for network and local usage
  • Troubleshoot  PDAs (Blackberrys and IPhones)

Company Wide Support

  • Assist personnel in trouble shooting hardware related issues 
  • Retrieve requests from personnel to resolve any issues

Software Support

  • Retrieve backup copies of lost documents and or folders as requested 
  • Monitor the software for servers that have lost connection with the network and trouble shoot those issues 
  • Perform desk side assistance and training for Microsoft Office application packages (Office 2003/2007) 
  • Perform software testing on potential new technology

Experience & Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent Client Service skills in fast moving, high pressure and dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
  • Experience with Windows XP and Windows 7 operating system and Microsoft Suites (Microsoft 03/07)
  • Experience with imaging laptops and desktops
  • Experience with audio video systems
  • Light training experience

 

Physical Therapist

Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Texas license to practice Physical Therapy. CPR certification for all age groups. Microsoft Office computer skills. A minimum of 2 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.

 

Speech-Language Pathologist

Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech program holding a Master’s Degree. Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year. Texas License to practice Speech Language Pathology. CPR certification for all age groups. Computer skills with Microsoft knowledge. Experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.

 

Occupational Therapist

Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy. Texas License to practice Occupational Therapist. CPR certification for all age groups. Computer skills with Microsoft office knowledge. Experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.
