Heart to Home
The Center’s vocational workshop department, Heart to Home, offers gainful
employment opportunities for adults in the program. Employment opportunities
are matched with skills and interests. Job coaches offer support and provide
training. Several adults are employed with various area businesses in the
community.
Heart to Home also operates a country crafts business. Wooden crafts are
designed, sanded, painted, assembled and then taken to trade shows to sell.
Proceeds from the sales pay for the salaries of the workers and other vocational
department needs. Heart to Home’s creative and professional products have
ensured the success of the business, resulting in continued gainful employment
for many disabled individuals.
