The Autism Treatment Center San Antonio is looking for a Certified Special Education Teacher to work in a classroom with students enrolled in our educational program. This is full time position assisting in the development of IEP, IHP, IDT, ISP and Treatment Plans. The Teacher will provide daily instruction to students to attain and maintain the skills necessary to achieve maximum functional independence and academic success. Will also support and promote the rights of Learners and function effectively as a member of Interdisciplinary Team. This position will train Teacher Assistant intervention techniques and best practices in behavior management. Successful candidates will be supervised by BCBA in the delivery of instruction to children with developmental disorders, specific to social, communication and cognitive development. Experience in teaching individuals with autism in a school setting is preferred.
