Meet Christopher Rosales-Dunton
This is Chris Dunton, the 23-year-old son of my niece and her husband. Shortly after he was born, Chris began having seizures and was diagnosed with autism and cognitive disabilities. Doctors told his mother that he would never live past the age of 18. Thankfully, Chris has defied the odds. Although Chris struggles daily with medical issues, he gets up every morning, smiles and tackles each day, one breathe at a time. Over the years he has had many types of therapy to help him develop his abilities – physical and occupational therapy, speech, aquatics and equestrian therapy. He graduated from Warren High School and then attended the Nellie Reddix Center for 4 years. As his mother says, “My son’s accomplishments are overwhelming.” I am so proud of Chris and am dedicating a stone in the Building Futures Wall of Hope to celebrate his life and recognize his achievements. |
Thank you to the friends and family who contributed to Chris' Wall of Hope stone!
